ERIN DARIANO

D.O.

Dr. Erin Dariano passed away peacefully on July 8th, 2023 at the age of 41 in her adopted state of Florida. She was surrounded in her home by her husband Michael and daughters Ella and Eva.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, daughters, parents Ken and Betty Kosch, sisters Jamie and Jill and their families, her friends, neighbors, and pets.

Erin was born in Continental Ohio. On, where, on a whim in high school tried high jump. She advanced to the state championships and earned a college scholarship at Bowling Green State University where she studied biochemistry. There, she met her husband Mike, while explaining over chicken wings and beer why organic chemistry was pointless, difficult, and unnecessary. Of course she aced the class.

Next came medical school at Ohio University. More studying, more time with Mike, and more chicken wings and beer. During her final year Erin was chief resident.

Erin opened, led, and cared for patients in two offices in Ohio before deciding she’d seen enough snow and moved to Florida where she worked at Rivers Family Medicine.

Erin loved Florida. Beaches, theme parks, sunshine, cruises, sea food, and even the humidity. If someone commented that it was hot, she’d counter that it was perfect.

During her life Erin faced challenges and overcame obstacles and treated cancer the same way. She was so tough.

Erin’s no-nonsense love touched us in so many ways. She will be missed but she will never be gone.
